About Mark Cardono, the Director of Boston Area OSCaR: I have worked as an "Hands-on" IS Manager for 6 years. In this role I was the database administrator, the network system administrator, a help desk operator, and the department manager. These roles included managing projects and people, designing, implementing, and managing the security of the Information Systems. Back then, I was given a great opportunity to take over the company's systems and database. I jumped into it whole heartedly, and have loved working in the IS field.
